The Hopkins Review has a new issue out for Fall 2010. The journal is an excellent compilation of great poetry, short stories, reviews, and art. I particularly liked the spare elegance of Josephine Hoi Yan Lee’s “Seven Dance Calligraphs” in the Summer issue. The publishers have managed to marry old and new media in an appropriate way both for their works and the consumer. A print subscription is $25/year. An online subscription, and you must subscribe to read it online, which is only right, because writers and publishers must eat, is also $25.
