Marvel’s Going Anime In 2011!

One of the more underlooked announcements from SDCC last month was the official announcement for the multiple anime series from the Marvel Universe hitting Japan in October of this year.

With series based on Iron Man, Blade, Wolverine and X-Men, fans will no doubt be longing to see these series as soon as possible, but they won’t have to wait too long, as it was announced that cable network G4 will be carrying all 4 series starting on an unannounced date in 2011.

To celebrate the announcement, a trailer for the Iron Man series was released, and I’ve embedded it below.  It looks pretty great so far, and I think I’ll have to set my DVR.

What do you think?

All flash, all the time. I have flashblock and really can’t (and won’t) see much on this site.

    Sorry there, SXS.

My particular skill set is in reporting the latest in nerdy TV/movies/games, and the most popular way for information about them to be distributed across the web is via video in embeddable Flash players. Sure, as a Mac user, I’d love if everyone jumped on the bandwagon of HTML5, but that format is still in it’s infancy, and hasn’t hit the level of overall use as Flash has.

Do you have any recommendations for alternative ways of sharing this content? I’d love to hear them.

Take care, and thanks for your input.
