The announcement of the sequel to the 2009 Game of the Year, Batman: Arkham Asylum, titled Batman: Arkham City sure did get people excited.
But with the release of the first 20 screenshots from the game, I think the fanboys are going to be sent straight into a frothing lather.
You have Batman wrecking thugs, a saucy looking Harley Quinn (are those tattoos new?), a gory Two Face and an odd looking Catwoman (check out those eyes!) – all elements for a great sequel, which if these screenshots are any true indication, will be pushing the graphical limitations of the current generation of systems.
Any way you cut it, Batman: Arkham City will do huge business, and it’s teases like this that make it even harder to wait until Fall 2011 to play it.
