Hello, Happy New Year, & Congratulations (On Your Engagement)!

Posted on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 at 4:09 pm

Charm City Bride (CCB as you’ll soon know it) was recently invited to become a part of Charm City Current. The goal? To bring all things weddings to Baltimore Sun readers like you. But not just any wedding stuff. For those who don’t already know, Charm City Bride.com is a place where you can find charming ideas and modern inspiration for your own Baltimore wedding.

Charm City Bride Blog

The original blog, created in March of 2009, posts anything and everything, from specific color and theme inspiration, to ‘Real Weddings’ and vendor interviews – Charm City Bride really does try to find it all.

Here at the ‘Current’ I hope not only to bring all goodies that make the original Charm City Bride what it is, but also create more communication between all the Baltimore brides and vendors alike.

So before we get into the lace, bows, and frills, let me just say Happy New Year! Hoping 2010 will be a happier, healthier, (and more engaging) year for all!

  • About Lauren Wenchel

For nearly a year now, Lauren Wenchel has searched and scouted for the most unique, wedding ideas and inspiration geared toward the Charm City bride. It all began with planning her best friend's bridal shower, and snowballed into creating inspiration boards, talking to local wedding vendors, and posting real Baltimore weddings on Charm City Bride.com for other brides to admire.

Born in Baltimore and raised in the surrounding area, she's got a strong grasp of the who's, what's, and where's of Maryland's largest city. Adding on to that is a Fine Art degree from Towson University, and an ever-growing love for all things design, creativity, and inspiration.

Please feel free to contact her to share you own real wedding, ideas, or inspiration.
