Dixon is a mayor who steals. She is a thief. On being convicted she will no longer be the politician-in-chief at Baltimore's city hall.

Thieves do NOT get re-elected, no matter how much they redefine themselves.

Also, Dixon is no Marion Barry. He was and still is an enigma even to himself. He's a Christian, womanizing pothead; yet, his charisma, loquacity and constant glad-handing always bring him an avalanche of votes. He is most popular in his D.C. ward 8.

Dixon cannot walk in the political shoes of Barry. She has soiled herself by stealing from the poor of Baltimore to feather her own greed spoiled nest where three city vehicles are parked, two are never used.

By stealing vouchers destined for Baltimore's most needy, Dixon has demonstrated that she has no feelings for the people of the city but only for her personal gain. She did not reach out to help them but to damage them by not passing on to them their gift cards.

I do not know what religion Dixon professes to belong to as she belongs to a quasi-church that has mean ties with a Christian-like belief. Perhaps, that makes her a type of Christian. If so, Dixon needs to read the Ten Commandments several times and apply that to what her church teaches.

If Dixon cannot just do that simple action, she can forget about damage control and any re-election to public office again. Voting people do not like to have a thief representing them.

There will be time for Dixon to begin looking for a new job after being serving time. The Black community takes care of its thieves.

Mr. Doni Glover seems to be left over from the 60s: he is all "black, black, black".

Mr. Glover: We are supposed to be way beyond the politics of racism you espouse. I am not interested in how many BLACK entrepreneurs we can empower. I am interested in how many ENTREPRENEURS we can empower, period. Your racism is disgusting.

And people say he a "go to" guy? For what? Knee jerk racism? What a disgrace.

This is still Baltimore, right? Don't get me wrong, I'm a very lefty Democrat; however, the whole one-party system in B-more has wrecked us for political objectivity. Of course Sheila Dixon can get reelected. Who's going to give her a serious challenge? The car dealership guy? The guy with the boxing gloves? The former high school principal who publicly endorsed the Black Guerilla Family earlier this year? The sitting City Council prez certainly knows better than to jump the line. Dixon is a shoe-in, because that's just the way things go around here.
