Gregg Bernstein has raised five times as much money as Patricia Jessamy has! He clearly has the financial momentum and advantage in the Baltimore State’s Attorney’s race. His financial prowess is going to gain him a lot of recognition in certain political circles, and the race could soon be viewed as an even match by many. It says a lot about a 15 year incumbent when this sort of scenario starts to materialize.
It has come to my attention that Bernstein also has a lot of mainstream political folks supporting him. I am not going to name any names, but key factions in city hall and beyond want him to win the race. I don’t blame them. If there was an efficient and effective State’s Attorney’s office, then Baltimore would be much less lawless, and a lot of politicians would look better and could start to take partial credit for the turn around. Politicians are always looking out for themselves, and it appears quite a few of them and their underlings feel that Bernstein as State’s Attorney will help their careers the most.
Adam is the most recognizable face of the recent resurgence in Reservoir Hill. He has appeared on many national and local radio shows, in several news publications, and at numerous events discussing his innovative urban redevelopment ideas and his unique lifestyle. Bernstein will win! Everyone in my community supports him and is donating money. I will reiterate the TRUTH: Jessamy represents the welfare sucking vagrants of the city. She and they need to go. For once the middle class (actually employed) voter is going to take this city back and make it what it once was. Bernstein is the only candidate that can clean up this city and lock all of the welfare low class law breaking dirt bags up. Criminals better enjoy their last days of preying on tax paying people, because we are taking back this city once and for all! I can’t wait until election day when law enforcements teeth will be sharpened and ready to chew on some drug dealing animals that destroyed this once great city.
what berstein and the police commissioner have and are doing is unconscionable, reprehensible, unethical, and should be against the law. and if it is against the law the city state’s attorney should prosecute for the maximum penalty allowable just because these two scoundrels demonstrate blatant disregard for any protocol and decorum which is appropriate when running for political office.
if either of them were black, behaving in this manner in this town, they’d be roundly run out of town. that’s right. i said it. “if they were black”, and yes, i am a black man and a resident in this city, and i don’t have a racially prejudiced bone in my body(BY THE WAY, THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS RACE). my fiance is of another ethnicity. perhaps you can guess. martha reeves jews comments are right on point. in essence, those who own the wealth in this town and state want berstein in for all the reasons she’s detailed. and these people determine what business sectors and what communities get what’s needed to move forward in a productive manner.
those of us who may have voted in the black elected officials we have should know they don’t answer to us voters. this city government is controlled in the state house of annapolis. and the state house does not have the well-being of the “majority population” of baltimore city on their agenda. berstein and the police commissioner are prime examples of this as ms. jews pointed out. berstein will prosecute any and every case regardless of whether the police department present him with weak or no evidence just to get convictions. this is a charege that ms. jessamy has repeatedly leveled against the commissioner’s police department. bealfeld should be fired for the poor performance of his department in this regard. berstein will fabricate evidence if necessary to satisfy those who want to see better numbers.
and we’ve all seen this movie many times before. if berstein gets in baltimore will be a “feature film” about a totally compromised and corrupted police jurisdiction. and the mainstream news media in this town won’t cover it. after all, feeding the “prison industrial complex monster” is the objective. it has to be fed, because it was built for somebody to make money off of it. it’s apart of the agenda. having a black woman as state’s attorney is not on the agenda……and stephanie rawlings blake, watch out, because i don’t think you’re apart of the agenda either.

Hmmm, while Mr. Bernstein has raised alot of money his views are clearly a direct response to the same people who left the City, moved to the suburbs, waited for the housing to dilapidate, tear them down, build expensive unaffordable housing in the prime water areas and who “pay a premium” to live in peace.
Crime didn’t leave the City because they moved in. The crime has been here, people in the inner city have clearly been forgotten. The neighborhoods have been destroyed by absentee landlords, redlining by the banks, 3 strikes your out – so the families are being left to fend for themselves with their mothers & fathers incarcerated. The DRUGS that come into the City aren’t brought to this country, state, city or neighborhood by the neighborhood semi-wannabe-gangster! They are brought in by people with planes, ships and legal license to bring them here!
Bernsteins idea of just put everybody in jail “forever”, is in direct correlation to the Industrial Prison Complex’s plan…make $100,000 per year to keep people in stockades, Build more jails, warehouse slave labor, don’t train prisoners to be able to work when they come home, give them $1.95 when they get out of jail and let them figure out-how to get home or how to walk back through the door, ’cause they won’t be hired; unable to feed their families, pay their bills or just keep the lights on in their homes.
Bernstein is part of the masterplan! Don’t be fooled by the designer glasses and his shafty words of following 200 lawyers around, in a court room that has dockets packed 24hours a day daggone near 7 days a week. WTH? Who does that… that’s like the President of a major company spending all daggone day with everyone of his employees! Doing what? You should hire the people who know how to do their job, police who look at criminals, speculate or know what they’re doing and then do nothing but LOOK at them! Stevie Wonder could see this on every corner!
This venom that he’s spewing is fueled by powers much bigger than your neighborhood and its not your family that is going to be impacted.
