Frank Conaway, Sr. had some very interesting things to say at the September 2010 meeting of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Baltimore & Vicinity. You can watch the full video of his is speech below. The most controversial part of the video starts at the 2:17 mark. Conaway thinks that a political trick is being played on the voters. It involves the Bernstein last name. It is ironic that he is concerned about such a “trick” because he tries to confuse people with his family’s last name in the same way he accuses the Bernsteins.
There also is a man with the last name of Bernstein running against Conaway’s wife. Conaway feels that people will vote for the Bernstein running against his wife only because they think they are voting for the Bernstein who is running against Jessamy. He feels “that’s an old trick they are playing”. Who are “they”? More quotes below:
“Play an old trick that they used to play on us years ago.” Who are “they”?
“That was an old Jack Pollack trick they used to play on our community.” Jack Pollack was an old school Jewish politician who controlled an old school political machine. He has been dead for many years. Again I am wondering who Conaway is talking about? I think this statement of his pretty much says it all.
“They are trying to steal a seat from us.” Who are “they”?
“And they are trying to replace all of the African-American women who are doing a great job.” Who are “they”?
Adam is the most recognizable face of the recent resurgence in Reservoir Hill. He has appeared on many national and local radio shows, in several news publications, and at numerous events discussing his innovative urban redevelopment ideas and his unique lifestyle. Adam is a successful entrepreneur, community activist, and a local political guru who ran for city council in 2007. He is the founder and director of the TechBalt.com Buy a Block Project and BaltimoreHourly.com. His fearless local political commentary has rocked the local blog scene for most of this decade and he plans to take it to the next level in the next decade here on Charm City Current.
There is no way Bernstein is going to lose this one, I just can’t see it. The idiot ministers only are looking for ways to line their pockets and spread fear and lies. Bernstein cares about the people of this city and he is what we need. I think he can win this by a landslide and we will take back the streets from the idiots running this city now. He is endorsed by the FOP and the Sun, while she has the Afro which respectable people in the black community use to line bird cages. Remember to vote, and here is to finally taking our city back!
Doni-Your comment sounds a little anti-semitic to this reader. Do you stand by Jessamy and Conaway’s gaffes too?
Stop beating around the bush, Adam? Speak your mind!
Anti-Semitic? C’mon, man! Santa hates kids, also? Right?
