One notable happening from this momentous day took place after the formal part of the hearing was complete when Frank Conway Sr. approached me and said congratulations and put his hand out to shake my hand. I refused to shake his hand and I walked by him. How dare he try to make this seem like business as usual! What they put me through was wrong and I will NEVER forgive them. People need to support Nick Mosby for city council in the 7th district:

Here is my official statement to the media:
I am very pleased with the outcome of today’s hearing. For months I have been forced to be silent because I dared say that Belinda Conaway receives a homestead property tax credit on a house she owns in Randallstown. This SLAPP lawsuit brought shame and embarrassment to the city of Baltimore and its city council. It has come to a point where if an elected official does not like what you write about her on your blog that she can sue you. In the USA we have something called Freedom of speech. I have a strong opinion on a lot of subjects and I am sure a lot of you do also. In this country we are allowed to state our opinions. Today and over the next few weeks I will be giving you my opinions about the upcoming election in the 7th district of Baltimore. Now Conaways, I want you to understand that in this country I am allowed to give my opinions on public matters and post public documents that may mention you. Belinda do you understand what an OPINION IS?
Many of you have asked me what I should do in order to be compensated for the months I have been silenced. I am not going to sue anyone, that is the path of cowards. I am not here to silence people. I want people to express themselves. The best way that people can express themselves is by voting for Nick Mosby in the September 13th 7th district election. If you do not live the 7th district I urge you to donate large sums of money to the Mosby campaign.
I also urge the city council of Baltimore to investigate this embarrassing debacle and everything surrounding it now. Please email the mayor, the council president, and your council rep and ask them how they can remain silent about all of this? Why is a person who has claimed primary residency in Randallstown and who has received a homestead property tax credit in Randallstown allowed to head the Baltimore city council Budget and Appropriations committee?
I also have questions for the media? When will we stop the boys will be boys attitude toward our elected officials? This is not some cute little game where people dress up like bears. What was done to me was cold hearted and mean. Leaders should not be allowed to get away with what has been done to me. The legal system has been used to shut me up and chill my speech. We must all stand up against SLAPP suits. These words should not seem harsh, if they do then I invite you to go through what I did. Remember these are my opinions! In the USA I can still give my opinions right? In Baltimore if a person gives their opinions they have to worry about their city council person suing them for millions upon millions of dollars.
The 7th district needs to stand up and show that we are not living in some sort of idiocracy where people vote for gimmicks and do not pay attention to the cold hard shameful facts. Again I urge all of you to vote for Nick Mosby. Stop rewarding the person who frivolously sued me for millions of dollars.
I want to thank Belinda for suing me, you went to these great lengths to shut me up and in the long run if it were not for your frivolous lawsuit people would not be hearing this today. If it were not for your frivolous lawsuit you would have zero legitimate primary opponents and nobody would have known about your house in Randallstown. This situation embodies everything that is wrong with Baltimore. It is spite, fear, and arrogance all rolled up into one UGLY action. You should be ashamed. You have shamed our city.
