The Monroe Street bike lane has been eliminated

What a disgrace! I wonder how much money some preferred contractor had to be paid to remove the lane? I know that money could have been spent for much more important things in West Baltimore. This is the kind of mindless reactionary boondoggle that so-called leaders like Belinda Conaway get you. The Baltimore Brew does a great job of covering the paranoia, politics, ignorance, and straight up lies that made up the  Monroe Street bike lane debacle.  Make sure you read the comments below the article where a couple of people say Belinda Conaway ignored their emails about the bike lane.
